Position Summary
Kiewit is currently seeking an experienced Rig Welders for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta .
Position Requirements
Valid Journeyman (JM) Welder Ticket
Valid B-Pressure Ticket
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial construction
Air Separation Units (ASU) Segment
FCAW All positions for Cold Boxes
Valid Confined Entry and Monitor ticket
Valid Fall Protection ticket
Minimum 3 years’ experience with Aluminum
Hydrogen (H2) Segment
SMAW All positions
TIG Welding experience is required for the H2 segment only
Valid Fall Protection ticket
Minimum 3 years’ experience with Stainless Steel and Alloys
Compensation and Shift Details
Base wage: $113.35 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement
Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours
Additional Information
Candidates offered a position must successfully complete SureHire Drug, Alcohol,
a half mask fit and 50lb Fitness to Work tests
Candidates offered a position must successfully complete a weld test at the CLAC Welding Training Centre
No travel and living-out expenses provided

Project Information
The Path2Zero project is a major clean energy initiative supporting the decarbonization of industrial operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Upon its completion in 2028, the facility will be Canada’s largest clean hydrogen production site and among the largest globally.
