Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Lead to drive the design, build, and implementation of SAC Planning solutions
Our large enterprise Oil & Gas industry client is seeking a Senior SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Lead to drive the design, build, and implementation of SAC Planning solutions .

Contract duration: ~2.5-year contract to start

Working model: Hybrid onsite within downtown Calgary (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

Must-Haves:

Proven and recent experience leading SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning implementations in complex enterprise environments.

Hand-on experience designing and building SAC Planning models .

Prior experience with SAP S/4 HANA environments, ideally how planning solutions integrate with core SAP finance processes.

Deep understanding of SAC Planning functionality, including advanced formulas, allocations, versions, and scenarios.

Experience reviewing, redesigning, and enhancing financial planning and business processes and translating into technical SAC solutions.

Experience working with and managing System Integrators and external delivery partners.

Experience working in large, complex transformation programs (ERP and/or Planning implementations).

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience working with SAP Datasphere, BW, or equivalent data platforms.

Previous experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy Infrastructure, or Utilities industries.

Key Accountabilities:

Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) and Technical Stakeholders to translate planning processes and analytical requirements into cohesive SAC Planning solution designs, ensuring consistency across models and processes.

Work with the System Integrator (SI) on the global design of integrated SAC Planning models, including Projects, Capital, Revenue and Short-term Planning by partnering with business and FP&A; teams to gain an understanding of planning processes, requirements,



and pain points.

Develop user stories and drive key design decisions that support FP&A; business requirements and objectives.

Support the design, build, and implement of end‑to‑end SAC Planning models to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Collaborate with the systems integrator to validate the design and build of SAC reports, stories, input templates, and planning dashboards, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and consistent.

Work closely with Data and Technical teams to implement and enforce SAP Analytics Cloud best practices, standards, and design patterns across all SAC solutions and support data models, data sources, and integrations.
