This senior role reports to the Head of Reinsurance and Strategic Initiatives. You will develop and execute comprehensive reinsurance strategies, manage RFP processes, and negotiate key treaty terms with reinsurers. Deep collaboration with underwriting and analysis of mortality slippage are essential to ensure program success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive strategic reinsurance initiatives for profitable outcomes
• Monitor mortality slippage with collaborative underwriters
• Manage all reinsurance RFP processes effectively
• Negotiate pricing and treaty execution with reinsurers
• Support Risk Committee and Board reporting on reinsurance
Requirements:
• University degree in actuarial science
• FSA/FCIA designation with 7+ years of experience
• Solid knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven project management and organizational skills
