DUTIES INCLUDE (but Are Not Limited To)
Assists the Physiotherapist(s) in providing restorative care treatment related to strength, mobility and transfer status of the LTC residents
Assists in developing, evaluating and providing restorative care/ recreational activities programs for the LTC residents
Salary
$26.727 – $28.856 PER HOUR

Required Skills
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
Current CPR
A post‑secondary diploma, degree or certificate in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation,



kinesiology or physiotherapy/rehabilitation assistant or other related field from an Ontario post‑secondary institution
Assets
Bilingual
Experience working in a health care setting providing restorative care as set by a Physiotherapist
Experience working with Point Click Care software
Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
Excellent Attendance Record
Preferred Ability/Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrated leadership, planning and organizational skills
Ability to assess, develop and implement relevant programs to meet the needs of the residents
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act
Knowledge of the Resident’s Bill of Rights
