Join Canadian Blood Services as a Casual Donor Centre Associate - Blood Collection. Engage directly with donors and utilize your phlebotomy skills to improve lives through blood donations.

This role in the BC-Kelowna mobiles involves working collaboratively with the Collections team to safely collect blood and blood components. You will conduct donor registration, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and ensure accurate data entry. A high school diploma and experience working in customer-focused environments are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct registration and screening of potential donors
• Perform phlebotomy and ensure donor comfort
• Maintain accurate records of blood product information




• Support set-up for mobile donor events
• Drive best practices to enhance the donor experience

Requirements:
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education a plus
• Three years in high customer service roles
• Experience or training in phlebotomy essential
• Knowledge of Valuable Manufacturing Practices
• Basic computer skills and bilingual abilities are assets
