Make a difference as a Temporary Full time Child and Youth Worker at George House in Brantford, ON. Support high-needs youth aged 14-16 while utilizing your Crisis Intervention Training skills.

This essential role at SOAR Community Services involves working closely within the Housing Program, providing bed-based housing and advocating for youth in care. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage client behaviors using Crisis Intervention techniques
• Monitor activity progress toward individual goals




• Advocate for clients to build their self-advocacy skills
• Provide life skills training using cognitive behavioral methods
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Requirements:
• College Diploma in Child and Youth/Social Services preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with high-needs youth
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Access to reliable transportation
• Eligible to work in Canada
