Elevate visitor experiences at the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum as the Coordinator of Programs & Event Services. This role supports planning, promotion, and execution of engaging programs and events in Prince George, BC.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team at the Museum. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Coordinator will work closely with staff and volunteers to enhance public programs and special events. Your role will emphasize communication and coordination, ensuring all activities are organized and appealing for visitors and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate public programs and special events
• Enhance visitor experience initiatives throughout the Museum
• Oversee front desk, admissions,
and rental services
• Manage marketing, social media, and audience engagement
• Build solid relationships with stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related fields
• Experience in program delivery or event coordination
• Proficiency in administration and communications
• Basic skills in social media and point-of-sale
• Valid BC driver’s license is preferred
