Be a pivotal part of the Propulsion Virtual Thermal Management team as a System Simulation Engineer specializing in thermal systems. Engage in 1D and coupled simulations to enhance automotive thermal management solutions.
This hybrid role is based in Windsor, Ontario, and requires independent execution of simulations using tools like Amesim and ANSA. Collaborate closely with system engineers to deliver impactful simulation insights and drive design improvements across A/C, engine, and cabin cooling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute 1D and coupled 1D–3D simulations
• Analyze data and generate comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with engineers to improve thermal system designs
• Assist in data acquisition from various sources
• Provide numerical solutions and recommendations
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience with 1D simulation tools
• 2 years of applied CFD experience with ANSA or STAR-CCM+
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
