Job Title:
Safety Manager
Location:
North Vancouver, British Columbia
What's the Job?
Ensure site compliance with all government-regulated safety and security requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain site safety policies, procedures, and training programs
Coordinate and conduct regulatory training sessions and maintain safety records
Lead incident investigations and analyze site safety performance metrics
Act as a liaison with government agencies, emergency responders, and community partners
What's Needed?
University degree or equivalent technical training in Occupational Health & Safety
Recognized CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Qualified) designation or enrolled in a safety program leading to this certification
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with industrial safety practices such as lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazard assessments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with computer applications
