Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing and maintaining a professional standard of service to our internal and external customers by responding to inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner. He or she will assist the customers in determining their professional needs when receiving or placing telephone calls.
Essential Functions Provide impeccable customer service and sales support; respond to customer queries, answer questions and solve problems in a timely fashion.
Identify customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and/or solutions.
Upgrades telephone orders.
Introduces and promotes new products during calls.
Researches and resolves customer problems relating to the merchandise department under guidance of lead customer service representative.
Participates in and supports campaigns/promotions sponsored by the Marketing Department, Region and/or Branch.
Maintain a current knowledge of company products, policies and procedures
Develop strong working relationships across the business/functions, as well as with customers and manufacturing partners.
Communicate any pertinent information received from customers to the outside sales representative or appropriate management.
The Customer Service Representative may perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications High school diploma or any other relevant experience.
Previous customer service experience is required, along with excellent verbal/phone communication and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
Mastering the Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of the dental industry is an asset.
Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
