As a key member of the Emergency Department, you will focus on assessment, intervention, education, and patient advocacy. The position requires a current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses and a baccalaureate degree in Nursing is preferred. You will actively participate in the Philosophy of Person-Focused Care while ensuring a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care for Emergency and Trauma patients
• Collaborate with the health care team and support families
• Conduct assessments and interventions based on best practices




• Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences
• Educate patients and families on recovery and care plans

Requirements:
• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• Two years of recent Emergency experience required
• Current A.C.L.S. Certification and/or Basic Arrhythmia Course
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
