About the role

You keep the kitchen and dining room running clean and stocked. It's a physical, rapid-paced job that switches between the dish pit and the floor depending on where you're needed.

What you'll do
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans by machine and by hand
Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle, keep detergent and cleaning supplies stocked, and report any equipment problems to the Manager immediately
Put clean tableware away and keep enough clean stock available for the dining room and kitchen
Handle tableware carefully to limit breakage and loss
Clear and wipe down tables, chairs and booths between guests, and clean the floor under and around them
Bring soiled tableware to the dish area, then sort and stack it for washing
Clean up spills and broken dishes promptly
Keep kitchen work areas, prep areas, equipment and utensils clean and orderly
Sweep and mop floors; clean and polish counters, shelves and equipment in service areas
Check assigned restrooms on a set schedule throughout the shift,



and clean and sanitize as needed between checks
Record each restroom check on the cleaning log, including time and initials
Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas and clean garbage cans
Receive, store and rotate supplies; move stock between storage and work areas
Restock serving stations, condiments, beverage and ice dispensers
Respond to guest requests politely and pass them to the right team member
Help teammates and cover other roles as needed to keep service moving

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.50 per hour
