Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation across designated routes and delivery points
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, identifying maintenance needs or safety concerns
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during every shift
Experience
Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid AZ license or equivalent certification
Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment used in freight handling
Knowledge of freight logistics, shipping procedures, and cargo securement techniques
Familiarity with automotive repair basics to identify mechanical issues early and coordinate repairs
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
