Job Summary

We are a boutique law firm and we are expanding again. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lawyer to practice Family Law with our legal team. As a Family Law Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing family law legal advice and representation to clients, handling various legal matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal proceedings
Prepare legal briefs, opinions, and other written documents
Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and options
Collaborate with colleagues on complex matters
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients

Experience:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school




Admitted to practice law in Ontario and in ngood standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Proven experience in legal drafting, research, writing, negotiation, and litigation
Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Westlaw, DivorceMate and Cosmolex
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,215.86-$168,814.05 per year
