Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks across multiple provinces, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to coordinate freight loading, unloading, and securement using forklifts and other equipment
Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests and shipping logs
Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary, including forklifts and other loading machinery
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle reliability
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven commercial driving experience across Canada
Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for large shipments
Experience in automotive repair or troubleshooting is a robust asset
Ability to perform heavy lifting, long hours on the road, and work in various weather conditions
Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
