We have an exciting prospect for a Yard Worker to join our Yard Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Container Yard Operations. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.JOB DUTIES
Verify the acceptance and release of containers entering and leaving the terminalPerform and update container interchanges into the Company’s computerized terminal management softwareInspect containers as they enter and leave the terminalCoordinate truck pickups and arrivalsRespond to email and phone callsSweep / wash the inside of containersMonitor refrigerated container temperaturesPrepare inventory reports as requiredMaintaining cleanliness of yardQUALIFICATIONS




Computer and keyboarding skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in a quick paced environmentPrevious customer service experience would be an assetFork lift experience would be an assetTRAINING PROVIDED
