Position: Butcher-retail or wholesale
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: CAD$23.69/hour
Working Hours: 30- 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Extended medical insurance after 6 months of full time employment, Hot lunch at work

Job Duties:
Cut, trim, bone meats to prepare standard cuts;
Prepare meat for special displays and orders;
Wrap and package prepared meats;
Keep sales records and monitor supply to maintain inventory;
Ensure meats are clean and stored in protected conditions;




Follow safety standards and maintain workplace in sanitary conditions;
Supervise and train meat cutters.

Job requirements:
Completion of secondary school;
1-2 years of on-the-job training.
(Completion of a college or other butchery training program an asset)
