We are looking for an experienced warehouse professional with strong warehouse and inventory experience to join our Kitchener team.
The primary focus of this position is warehouse operations, inventory control and shipping/receiving. You will also provide backup delivery support and assist with equipment maintenance.
This is NOT an entry-level general labour position.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of recent warehouse experience
I nventory control experience
Experience with receiving, shipping, stocking and organizing products
Experience performing inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels
Comfortable loading and unloading shipments
Forklift experience is an asset; training can be provided for the right candidate
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment
Reliable, organized and detail-oriented
Valid driver’s licence and good driving record
Comfortable providing backup local delivery support when required
Warehouse and inventory experience are the primary requirements for this position.
Equipment & Maintenance
You do not need to be a mechanic but experience working with tools, machinery or mechanical equipment is an asset.
However, you should be hands-on and mechanically inclined and comfortable learning how to work with equipment.
Training will be provided to assist with basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
What You’ll Do
Warehouse & Inventory – Primary Focus
Receive and put away incoming products
Pick, prepare and ship customer orders
Organize warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock levels
Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
Load and unload shipments
Operate a forklift safely once trained
Keep the warehouse clean, organized and protected
Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
Equipment & Delivery Support
Assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs after training
Identify equipment issues and report problems
Prepare products and equipment for delivery
Provide backup local delivery support when required
Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers
The Right Candidate
You are an experienced warehouse professional first.
You understand warehouse operations, know how to maintain accurate inventory and take pride in keeping a warehouse organized and running efficiently.
You are also hands-on, mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
Because you may occasionally interact with customers during deliveries, professional communication and a customer-service mindset are important.
Compensation & Schedule
$50,000–$55,000 per year
Monday–Friday
7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
30-minute unpaid lunch

This position is intended for candidates with substantial warehouse and inventory experience.
Candidates whose experience is primarily general labour, truck driving/delivery, construction labour, retail or manufacturing production without significant warehouse and inventory responsibilities will not be considered.
