Carrier Sekani Family Services is seeking a Community Health Nurse to join its dedicated team in Vanderhoof, with travel to Fraser Lake, Nadleh, and Stellat’en. This part time role requires nursing skills, crisis intervention capabilities, and experience in cross-cultural health promotion. Your work will foster trusted partnerships and create meaningful connections in the community, significantly contributing to the holistic wellness of Indigenous populations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nursing skills and initiate emergency assessments
• Educate populations on key health objectives




• Evaluate care needs for patients and families
• Support point of care testing and specimen acquisition
• Arrange referrals and follow-up care as needed

Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or be a Registered Nurse
• Current registration with the BC College of Nurses
• Experience in a clinical health setting
• Basic Life Support, Level C certification
• Completion of Transportation of Dangerous Goods course
