The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor of Environmental Services, working independently and alongside the Head Caretaker as needed. You’ll perform key custodial duties including cleaning classrooms, handling waste management, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of school grounds. Using various cleaning equipment, you will contribute positively to the school's atmosphere and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform custodial duties including wet and dry mopping
• Disinfect surfaces and major touch points regularly




• Maintain outdoor areas by removing snow and de-icing walkways
• Vacuum carpets and replace lights as needed
• Attend to emergencies and conduct perimeter checks daily

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience
• WHMIS Certification is an asset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials
