Propel is seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake for our fintech team. Utilize your SQL skills to develop secure, scalable database solutions that support analytics and Finance operations.

As a seasoned skilled, you will report to the Director of Data Platform. Your role focuses on developing and troubleshooting stored procedures and SQL-driven strategies, primarily in a financial context. Collaborating closely with our Finance team, your knowledge or eagerness to learn about finance-related concepts will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design secure and scalable Snowflake databases
• Translate Finance requirements into data models
• Develop advanced Snowflake SQL and stored procedures
• Build reliable ELT pipelines with Snowflake features
• Optimize workloads for performance and cost efficiency

Requirements:
• 8+ years in SQL-based database solutions
• 3+ years with production workloads on Snowflake
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture
• Advanced SQL skills for complex transformations
• Experience managing access and governance in Snowflake
