Assistant Project Manager – Ground-Up ICI Construction

Location: Greater Toronto Area

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Advantages

Our client, an established general contractor, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional construction projects.

Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager throughout all phases of construction.
Assist with project schedules, budgets, procurement, and cost tracking.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Monitor project milestones and help resolve scheduling or coordination issues.
Assist with contract administration, closeout documentation, and deficiency management.




Ensure project activities meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

Qualifications
2–5 years of experience within the Canadian construction industry.
Experience supporting ground-up ICI construction projects.
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Robust knowledge of construction drawings, documentation, and project coordination.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Compensation
$80,000–$100,000 base salary
