Job Overview

Reporting to the Controller, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Technician. In this vital role, you will manage the day-to-day financial record-keeping processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various accounting functions. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health by maintaining precise records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting.

What You’ll Do
Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and proper approvals
Perform Monthly reconciliations
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
Support budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities
Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely payment processing
Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and procedures
Prepare and process electronic transfers and cheque runs
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

What We’re Looking For
Diploma or Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration




Previous experience in accounting or finance role is an asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and grow within the finance department
Understanding of financial statements and budgets
Minimum of 2 years in Accounting or related field

Schedule & Benefits
Full time, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
