This year-round position calls for skilled mechanics experienced with snowcats, diesel engines, and heavy equipment. You will maintain and repair a fleet that includes snowmobiles and transport vehicles. Successful candidates will demonstrate quick problem-solving skills and mechanical intuition in field conditions, ensuring lodge operations run smoothly while fostering a positive team workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain snowcats, generators, and transport vehicles
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs in field conditions
• Support lodge operations through effective mechanical solutions




• Collaborate with team for smooth workflow
• Uphold safety protocols and ensure equipment readiness

Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience with snowcats and 10+ years as mechanic
• Clean class 5 BC driver’s license and pleasure craft operator
• Experience in backcountry travel and winter outdoor work
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
