Description
The DZ Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery and pickup of products to clients at various locations across Ontario while following all laws and regulations of the province. The DZ Delivery Driver represents the company, providing superior professional customer service to our clients.
Major Areas of Responsibilities Performing truck inspections and filling out daily logs
Driving safely and following laws of Ontario and MTO guidelines
Delivery and pickup of products
Collection of customer payments
Loading/unloading trucks and moving product, equipment or bulk materials by hand and/or using unpowered or powered equipment
General housekeeping of work area
Other duties as required
Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Superior driving skills in all types of weather
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
Effective communication skills, professional attitude
Strong organizational / time management skills
Robust attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
Thrives in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Able to be flexible/adaptable to changing needs of the department
Must be willing to work overtime
Education/Certification/Experience DZ licence with clean abstract
Minimum of 3 years driving experience in DZ capacity
Forklift experience and certification (asset)
Physical Demands Lifting up to 22 kgs
Driving for long distances
Stretching
Climbing
Pushing/pulling
Walking
Stair / ladder climbing working at heights
While performing the duties of the DZ Delivery Driver position, the employee will have exposure to all types of outside elements (rain, snow, extreme cold/hot conditions), as well as a warehouse environment which includes moving forklifts and bedmovers and delivery trucks in the parking lot. The noise level in this environment is moderate.

Hours of Work 40.0 – 47.5 hours/week; varies according to individual branch seasonal operating hours
Includes 30-minute unpaid meal break + 2 paid 15-minute breaks each shift
Overtime as required.
