The client is looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator to enhance bid accuracy and project proposals. You will work closely with various teams, interpret drawings and specifications, and prepare comprehensive cost estimates using industry-standard tools like Auto Bid and Bluebeam.
This role requires solid analytical skills and attention to detail to support competitive project bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project documents to define scope and requirements
Collaborate with teams to gather necessary project data
Prepare accurate cost estimates using Auto Bid and Excel
Identify value engineering opportunities in estimates
Update and maintain the cost database for efficiency
Requirements:
Journeyman certification in Sheet Metal/HVAC or Plumbing
Proven experience in mechanical estimating
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and codes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
