In this role, you will be the technical owner of an aircraft program, responsible for the whole vehicle's architecture and technical roadmap. You’ll lead a diverse team of twelve engineers and technicians, ensuring all components are designed, tested, and integrated successfully. The position requires regular collaboration between our downtown engineering site and the North York production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the entire aircraft architecture and technical roadmap
• Maintain requirements and manage system-level budgets
• Lead design reviews and enforce configuration control
• Develop verification and validation strategies
• Oversee flight test planning and anomaly investigations
Requirements:
• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering field
• At least 8 years in UAS or complex system development
• Robust systems engineering fundamentals
• Direct flight test experience and regulatory familiarity
• Proficient with SolidWorks and configuration management tools
