As a Farm Worker, you will report to the Smart Farm Operations Supervisor. This role involves collaborating on projects, assisting livestock management, documenting production data, and maintaining facilities. You will ensure operational safety while gaining hands-on experience in agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the care and feeding of livestock
• Support crop production activities and field operations
• Document important data using HerdTrax or SheepTrax
• Help set up labs for students and coordinate research
• Maintain facilities and perform minor equipment upkeep
Requirements:
• High school diploma plus relevant coursework
• One year of related farm experience required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license needed
