Mission
Our client, a growing manufacturing company located on Montreal’s South Shore, is looking for a Demand Planner to support the evolution of its S&OP; process. Reporting to management, the Demand Planner will be responsible for demand forecasting, facilitating S&OP; demand reviews, and continuously improving planning processes. This role requires strong analytical, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, orders, and input from commercial teams.
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities that may impact future demand.
- Lead demand review meetings with Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor key KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, and MAPE.
- Develop scenarios and recommendations to support S&OP; decision-making.
- Contribute to the improvement, standardization, and automation of planning processes.
Your profile
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP;, IBP, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in a B2B manufacturing environment.
- Robust knowledge of S&OP; processes and demand forecasting KPIs.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or planning systems; knowledge of D365 is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- Autonomous, business-minded, and comfortable working in a transforming environment.
