POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Network Security Analysts motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to monitor, protect and harden network infrastructures, analyze vulnerabilities and security events, configure perimeter security equipment, take part in handling security incidents and contribute to applying network security standards and best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor network traffic and analyze security events from firewalls, IDS/IPS and VPNs.
Configure and maintain perimeter security equipment and filtering rules.
Analyze network vulnerabilities and track patching and hardening.
Take part in handling and escalating network security incidents.
Carry out segmentation, rule reviews and network access controls.
Document network security configurations, procedures and records.
Contribute to applying security norms, standards and best practices.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Network Security Analyst.
Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.




Hold one of the following certifications: CompTIA CySA+, Cisco CCNA Security, CWNA, CWSP.
Hold one of the following certifications (an asset): CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCST Cybersecurity.
Experience with one of the following tools: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Nessus, Wireshark, Azure DevOps.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
