Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled 3rd to 5th-year apprentice to join our team for new commercial and industrial electrical projects. This paid apprenticeship offers a dynamic environment where you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned electricians on large-scale construction sites. You will develop your skills in electrical installation, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting, contributing to vital infrastructure projects that power communities and industries.

Duties
Assist with the installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings, following blueprints and schematics accurately
Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment safely and efficiently to complete wiring tasks
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installation
Support the setup and connection of low voltage systems such as data, security, or fire alarm wiring
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with journeymen electricians to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform system testing




Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements
Current enrollment in or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program (3rd to 5th year)
Proven industrial electrician experience or construction experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment
Robust understanding of electrical systems, including wiring methods and circuit components
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction setting
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times

This paid apprenticeship provides an excellent chance for aspiring electricians to develop their skills on meaningful projects while working with experienced specialists.
