Duties
Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections under supervision.
Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repair processes.
Use welding equipment and other heavy-duty tools to help with structural repairs when necessary.
Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including heavy lifting and handling automotive parts.
Read and interpret technical schematics to understand vehicle systems and repair procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure productive workflow and safety compliance.
Requirements
Any level apprenticeship is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential.
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with automotive repair is highly desirable.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics used in automotive work.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as part of daily tasks.
Robust customer service attitude, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with team members and customers.
Willingness to learn welding techniques, maintenance procedures, and mechanical assembly processes.
Valuable communication skills with an active interest in developing automotive repair expertise.
