Frost Works HVAC & Plumbing is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial plumbing, HVAC, gas piping, service, maintenance and installation. We are looking for a motivated plumbing apprentice who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with our company.
Responsibilities
Assist with commercial plumbing installations, renovations and service work
Install and repair drainage, water distribution, fixtures and mechanical piping
Read drawings, specifications and job instructions
Maintain accurate timesheets and job documentation
Keep tools, vehicles and work areas clean and organized
Follow company procedures and Manitoba safety requirements
Work effectively with journeypersons, other trades, customers and site supervisors
Travel to job sites in Winnipeg and surrounding communities as required
Qualifications
Registered Manitoba plumbing apprentice or eligible to register
All apprenticeship levels will be considered
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift materials, use ladders and work in commercial environments
Commercial plumbing or mechanical experience is an asset
Gas piping, boiler, hydronic or HVAC experience is an asset
Own basic hand tools appropriate to apprenticeship level

The successful candidate will be dependable, presentable and committed to performing quality work while providing qualified service to our customers. Pay: $24.00-$44.00 per hour
