Institutional Equities delivers investment ideas, research product and new issues to buy‑side clients and earns commissions on agency trades generated or fees on recent issue deals distributed to clients. Co‑op / Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. Our Co‑op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co‑op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on‑the job experience and features: Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more.
Job Responsibilities Working closely with Equities Traders and Salespeople to assist with client requests, conduct day‑to‑day activities which help facilitate client trading
Produce and distribute recurring market and trading reports used by Traders throughout the day
Analyze and validate market and trading data, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process enhancements.
Support the desk through ad‑hoc projects and assignments
Conduct research and obtain market data through Bloomberg, trading systems, and internal databases
Assist in design and implementation of Front Office solutions for trading analytics and operations
Required Skills Have a combination of strong financial/analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and adept at financial modeling and valuation
Experience with Python, Excel/SQL and Bloomberg is required
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a proactive manner
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must




Qualifications Graduating in December 2027 or spring/summer 2028 with an undergraduate degree; Have a combination of solid analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid foundation in finance or mathematics; Ability to work effectively in a team workplace; and, Demonstrated leadership experience (i.e. sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, philanthropy).
