We are looking for a high-quality AP Economics tutor (Microeconomics and/or Macroeconomics) to support students preparing for AP exams.
This role focuses on concept mastery, exam strategies, and problem-solving skills, with lessons delivered primarily in person at our West Vancouver.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, takes ownership of student outcomes, and works collaboratively within an academic team.
Responsibilities
Deliver AP Microeconomics and/or AP Macroeconomics tutoring sessions (1-on-1 or small group)
Explain complex economic concepts in a clear, structured, and engaging way
Guide students through College Board AP syllabus, practice questions, and past exam materials
Help students build solid graph analysis, FRQ writing, and MCQ strategies
Track student progress and provide feedback to parents and academic coordinators
Maintain skilled communication and follow center teaching policies
Qualifications
Solid academic background in Economics (undergraduate or graduate level)
Familiarity with AP Economics curriculum and exam format
Prior experience tutoring AP, IB, or university-level economics
Excellent communication skills and ability to teach teens effectively
Reliable, organized, and able to commit through the AP exam season (April–May)
Experience with high-achieving or private-school students
Ability to teach both Micro & Macro

Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and teaching format
