Part-Time Chief Operating Officer
Our client, a boutique Litigation Law Firm is looking to add a dynamic part time COO to their team.
Core Responsibilities- Oversee the below departments
Operations and Systems: Build efficient daily workflows, manage software and vendor relationships, and oversee compliance with provincial regulations like Law Society of Ontario (LSO) record-keeping rules.
Human Resources: Handle hiring, onboarding, payroll administration, and performance reviews for non-legal staff such as legal assistants and law clerks (working in conjunction with our Office Manager)
Financial Management: Oversee firm budgeting, cash flow tracking, billing processes, and basic profitability analysis at the client or matter level.
Technology Integration: Implement practice management software, document automation,
and secure digital tools to streamline files.
Overseeing lawyers' billable hours (revenue), billings, collections, ARs, introduction of new technologies (AI), marketing initiatives lawyer and staff annual bonuses, supervising HR issues.
Salary Range: $40K plus depending on experience
