Role Overview
Reporting to the Director, B2C Sales, the B2C Sales Operations Analyst supports the B2C Sales team by managing sales reporting, analytics, and operational processes. The role works closely with B2C Sales team members, internal stakeholders from cross functional teams, and key retail accounts to consolidate and analyze sales, inventory, order, and promotional information. By delivering accurate reporting, actionable insights, and responsive operational support, the Analyst helps the sales team make informed decisions, identify business opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Analysis
Prepare and distribute accurate weekly and monthly sales, purchase, cancellation, inventory, order, and point‑of‑sale reports for assigned retail accounts and sales channels
Consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources, validate its accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and elevate significant issues when required
Analyze sales performance, inventory, order plans, and promotional activity to identify trends, risks, gaps, and business opportunities
Translate reporting results into clear insights and recommendations that support account planning and B2C Sales decision‑making
Maintain retail account reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring information is accurate, current, and available according to established reporting timelines
Prepare reporting materials and business updates for internal reviews, customer meetings, and account‑planning discussions
Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, information flow, process efficiency, and stakeholder experience
Sales, Accounts & Cross‑Functional Support
Monitor weekly order‑plan performance and collaborate with account buying teams, account managers, and Supply
Chain to address forecast,
inventory, or order‑related issues
Support product launches by coordinating pricing, item setup, launch information, and other required product data with internal teams and customer contacts
Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, and other internal stakeholders to respond to customer and account information requests
Support promotional planning and execution by maintaining relevant information, monitoring activity, and communicating changes or issues to appropriate stakeholders
Act as a responsive point of contact for operational and reporting questions from assigned key retail accounts and internal stakeholders
Participate in weekly B2C Sales meetings and provide updates on reporting, orders, inventory, promotions, risks, and follow‑up action
Customer & Additional Support
Attend customer meetings occasionally, as required
Perform other related duties and support ad hoc projects as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
Education
University degree or college diploma in business, commerce, analytics, supply chain, finance, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience
At least three years of experience in sales operations, sales support, retail account support, customer service, supply chain, business analytics, or a related field
Experience in consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods, retail, or another product‑based industry Preferred
Experience supporting major retail or e‑commerce accounts Preferred
Languages
Bilingual
Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Demonstrated ability to consolidate, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and the organization and analysis of large data sets
Experience preparing recurring reports, dashboards, or sales performance analyses
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to data accuracy and quality
Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate underlying causes, and raise issues or risks in a timely manner
Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and changing priorities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external customer contacts
Experience working with point‑of‑sale, inventory, order, forecast, and promotional data Preferred
Experience using Tableau or another business intelligence and data‑visualization platform Preferred
Experience improving reporting processes, dashboards, or data‑quality controls Preferred
