This full-time position within the interdisciplinary Seniors Care Team focuses on both emergency department and community settings. As a Physiotherapist, you’ll deliver personalized care, ensuring the well-being of older adults while adhering to skilled standards. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating closely with community partners and contributing to the education of Physiotherapy students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide client-centered physiotherapy services in emergency and community settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Support seniors' independence through targeted interventions
• Maintain adherence to Nova Scotia Health policies and professional standards
• Educate and mentor Physiotherapy students and health disciplines
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Physiotherapy
• Membership with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator
• Preferred experience in Geriatric Care
• Strong counselling and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
