Embark on a research journey as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Snow and Ice Hydrology at the University of Saskatchewan in Canmore, Alberta. This role focuses on hydrological modeling in cold regions utilizing remote sensing and field observations.

You will conduct research under the guidance of Prof. John Pomeroy and assess the Thethys-Chloris model's performance against established hydrological frameworks. Engage with the Canadian Rockies Hydrological Observatory, contributing to the MountAInWater Project and exploring crucial cryospheric processes while participating in fieldwork across Banff and Jasper National Parks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and apply hydrological models for snow and glacier processes
• Analyze performance from remote sensing and field data




• Mentor junior colleagues and graduate students
• Prepare research reports and scientific papers
• Manage time effectively in an independent research setting

Requirements:
• PhD in hydrology, engineering, or related discipline within 5 years
• Experience in cold regions hydrology and computational methods
• Proficient in data analysis using Python or R
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Fortran
• Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities

This position enhances understanding of cold region hydrology and offers insights into cryospheric dynamics.
