Manage delivery of challenging Canadian business immigration services
Develop solutions for diverse clients
Apply Canadian business immigration law knowledge to client situations, including temporary work permits, LMIA and LMIA-exempt matters, and permanent residence applications
Prepare, review, and submit applications in a high-volume environment
Make submissions to ports of entry, consulates, and visa posts worldwide
Manage client deliverables and expectations while executing competing priorities
Facilitate legal movement of employees across borders for business travel
Manage law clerks and other client service team members
Implement best practices as an active member of the Canadian immigration practice
Contribute to business development
Provide technical legal expertise and proactive, strategic business solutions aligned with client needs
Requirements
Law degree and licensed (in good standing) to practice law in Canada
Minimum of 1–5 years of Canadian business immigration experience
Experience managing temporary and permanent residence applications for high-volume engagements
Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to provide technical legal expertise and proactive, strategic business solutions
Knowledge of Quebec immigration regulations is an asset
Excellent written and verbal French language skills are an asset
Bilingualism in French and English is a definite asset
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile, team-oriented workplace
Ability to multitask and take on a variety of projects
High level of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information
