Join NEOFACS as a full time Investigation and Assessment Worker in Timmins. This role centers on delivering crucial child welfare services, including risk assessments and protective planning.
As part of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, you will provide a wide range of services focused on children's welfare. Your responsibilities will involve preventative and child protection services, conducting risk assessments, and developing necessary documentation for case dispositions. Bilingualism and flexibility in working hours will be essential in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide preventative and child protection services to families
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for children and families
• Develop protection plans based on assessment findings
• Complete documentation for case disposition requirements
• Adapt to flexible working hours and travel needs as necessary
Requirements:
• MSW or BSW preferred; relevant diplomas may be considered
• Experience with children, youth, and families is an asset
• Ability to interpret legislative requirements effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual in English and French required
