About the Role
Are you a client-focused insurance professional who loves building relationships and making a real difference for the people you work with? My client is looking for a motivated and personable Professional Insurance Advisor – Personal Lines to join their growing team in Toronto.
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of personal insurance clients, deliver expert advice, and provide the kind of exceptional service that keeps clients coming back year after year. You’ll be a trusted advisor – someone clients can count on to protect what matters most – while enjoying the support of a collaborative, professional team.
What You’ll Do
Be the go-to contact for your clients, handling inquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence with care and efficiency
Manage and grow an existing book of personal lines business
Remarket policies at renewal to make sure clients always have competitive coverage and pricing
Spot cross-selling opportunities and proactively recommend the right insurance solutions
Support clients through the claims process from start to finish – because that’s when they need you most
Conduct outbound renewal calls, particularly for Tier 2 clients
Keep client records accurate and documentation up to date
Process policy changes, transfers,
and endorsements in line with company guidelines
Partner with insurers and underwriting contacts to get the best outcomes for your clients
Be a positive, contributing member of a team that genuinely enjoys working together
What You Bring
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills & Experience
Strong customer service skills and a natural ability to build lasting client relationships
Excellent communication and active listening – you make people feel heard
High attention to detail and solid organizational skills
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Experience with broker management systems (e.g., EPIC) and rating tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
