Join the Child and Youth Mental Health team in Kirkland Lake as a Registered Clinician. Provide essential psychotherapy and assessments for children and adolescents in need of support.
In this full-time, eighteen-month contract position, you will be pivotal in delivering therapy and support for behavioral, social, and emotional needs of youth and their families. The right candidate will thrive in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary environment while applying clinical skills in children's mental health. Bilingualism in English and French is essential for fostering effective communication within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to youth
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for families
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
• Support children's emotional and behavioral needs
• Engage with families to promote overall well-being
Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Registration with the appropriate Ontario health college
• Proven skills in children's mental health
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Minimum G2 driver’s license and access to your own vehicle
