Job Description This role requires Reliability Status Clearance. In addition to a law enforcement inquiry and a credit check, as part of your application, the Government of Canada will ask if you lived or travelled outside of Canada for 6-consecutive months during the last 5 years, and you must account for all activities during this time. Important: Obtaining Reliability Status Clearance within a reasonable amount of time is a condition required to start employment for this role at Sun Life. The Student Access Governance Analyst will be accountable for delivery of compliance tasks within company regulations and directives to improve security posture and reduce identity Access Management related risk.
Preferred skills Technical skills in running SQL queries for data lookup, generating reports and analyzing for remediation.
Proficient on Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, any Addins), Python or Powershell experience.
Collaborative skills to work with other security teams to remediate identity security issues detected by the Crowdstrike platform.
Ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills Able to work independently with high degree of ambiguity and deliver expected outcomes.
Experience with IAM tools (e.g. SailPoint, IdentityIQ) or with PAM tools (CyberArk).




Qualifications Pursuing Undergraduate degree in computer science, Information Security Management, Cybersecurity, Data Sciences or comparable education/training in a field relevant to Cyber Security.
A graduation date of April 2027 or later.
Responsibilities Communicate with our business partners in an effective and timely manner.
Ensure written documentation is clear, understandable, audience appropriate and accurately captures the key information required for a quality solution that meets business needs.
Ensure potential issues are tracked and escalated in a timely manner.
Participate fully as a member of the team by supporting a work workplace that promotes knowledge sharing, customer service, quality, security posture, innovation and teamwork.
Be resourceful and be able to work with technical support and project teams with strong collaboration and synergy to enhance and improve global IAM security posture.
The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for. Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
