Sell crop inputs directly to farm customers
Conduct face-to-face and remote sales with new and existing customers
Evaluate customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions
Identify potential customers and manage existing customer relationships
Conduct market research, pricing, sales, and merchandising activities with guidance
Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends
Protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business
Disseminate favorable information about the organization and its products and services to support business growth
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision and elevate more complex issues
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience; posting notes this typically reflects 3 years or more
Experience in agricultural sales and a foundation in agronomic knowledge
Able and willing to travel locally up to 60% for business purposes
Valid Canadian driver’s license in valuable standing authorizing independent driving during employment
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
CCA (Certified Crop Advisor), PAg (Professional Agrologist), or RTAg certification is preferred, or ability to obtain one
