In this crucial role, you will report to the Director of Human Resources and engage in various HR activities, emphasizing Health & Safety policy implementation and compliance. You will support recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee transitions to maintain an inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and communicate HR and Health & Safety policies
• Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and respect
• Track and investigate workplace injuries and WSIB claims
• Maintain compliance with OHSA and applicable legislation
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee transitions

Requirements:
• Experience in Human Resources and Health & Safety
• Background in a Unionized environment
• Solid knowledge of workplace safety practices
• Proficiency with HRIS systems
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
