BGC Okanagan is seeking a Casual Program Area Leader in Lake Country, BC, to support Recreation programs. Make a difference in children's lives through engaging activities and teamwork.

This role is perfect for candidates with experience in recreation, education, or social services. As a Program Area Leader, you will plan and implement recreational and educational activities. Work closely with Activity Leaders to ensure program success, while adhering to guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement social and educational activities
• Collaborate with Activity Leaders for effective program delivery
• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with standards




• Promote program awareness through community engagement
• Liaise with community service providers for better support

Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in recreation or related field
• One year of relevant experience working with children/youth
• Class 5 Driver’s License; willingness to obtain Class 4
• First Aid Certificate and Food Safe
• Explicit Criminal Record Check required
