Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will manage the operations crew and implement health and safety protocols. We seek a leader with solid communication skills who can motivate and mentor team members while optimizing mining functions. This role follows a 4x4 schedule rotation, balancing work with the rich outdoor lifestyle of the Elk Valley.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Empower employees to achieve operational targets
• Optimize drilling, blasting, and loading functions




• Administer collective agreements and regulations
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers for mining activities

Requirements:
• Valid Open Pit Shift Boss certificate
• Minimum three years in open pit mining leadership
• Knowledge of BC health and safety regulations
• Familiarity with Wenco Dispatch system preferred
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
