Be part of the healthcare team as an Emergency Medical Responder at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. This full time position involves patient transport and emergency care in a shift-based role.

The Ambulance Operator is critical to the Western Zone Operations, where you'll operate ambulances and provide dedicated patient care. You'll utilize your EMR training and skills to ensure efficiency and safety during medical emergencies. Understanding the physical and situational demands of this role is crucial, with a focus on person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate ambulances safely and efficiently
• Provide optimal patient care during transport
• Lift and move patients and equipment regularly




• Assess patient conditions in emergencies
• Collaborate with team members to enhance safety

Requirements:
• Complete EMR training and certification
• Hold a valid Class 4 Driver's License
• Current registration with NL Paramedicine Regulation
• Certification in Basic Life Support
• Transparent Driver’s Abstract and conduct certificate
