As a pivotal member of the CRESST team in Fraser South, you will contribute to person-centered care for clients facing acute psychiatric crises. Your expertise in mental health and substance use will guide assessments, crisis management, and effective patient education. This position promises collaboration with an interprofessional team, focusing on recovery-oriented practices to ensure exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stabilize clients experiencing acute psychiatric crises
• Conduct assessments and create personalized care plans
• Collaborate with psychiatrists on client treatment
• Educate clients about illness and coping strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care
Requirements:
• Current RN/RPN registration with BCCNM
• One year of relevant mental health experience
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Solid communication and counseling skills
